How to book your wedding photography with Vicky Dubois

Before we embark on this magical journey together, I want us to weave the threads of our stories together first. Booking your wedding photographer isn’t just a transaction — it’s the beginning of an adventure, and I’ll be there to guide you from the opening chapter right through to the grand finale.

STEP ONE: ENQUIRE

The first step is super simple. Head over to my contact page and fill in the wedding form with as much juicy information about your wedding plans as you can.

Every consultation is completely FREE and there’s absolutely no obligation to book. Think of it less like a sales call and more like humans having a good natter about your wedding plans, your ideas, and everything that makes your relationship unique.

STEP TWO: THE CONSULTATION VIDEO CALL

During our call, we’ll chat all about your wedding day and what kind of photography coverage would suit you best.

We might talk about things like:

  • Whether you’d love full-day coverage

  • If you’d like morning preparations photographed

  • Whether you’re having a celebrant or registrar ceremony

  • Confetti plans and venue rules

  • Cake cutting moments

  • Group photos

  • Indoor and outdoor locations

  • Timings throughout the day

  • Style of imagery

All these little details are like puzzle pieces helping me build the perfect photography package around your wedding.

And don’t worry if you don’t have every answer yet! I know many couples book me 1–2 years in advance, so sometimes plans are still unfolding, and that’s completely okay. We can figure things out together as your day gets closer.

STEP THREE: GETTING TO KNOW YOU

One of the most important parts of this process is getting to know you both properly.

I want to hear your story. Your favourite bands. Your pets. The things you geek out over together. The little details that make your relationship feel like its own tiny universe.

The more I know about you, the easier it becomes for me to create photographs that genuinely feel personal and meaningful, not stiff or awkward. My goal is always to create a space where you feel comfortable, relaxed, and fully yourselves in front of the camera. Like the Fellowship setting off on a quest… just with less Mordor and more confetti.

STEP FOUR: TIME TO DECIDE

After our consultation, I always encourage you to take some time to process everything we’ve discussed. There’s never any pressure from me.

If you have questions afterwards, send them my way. I want you to feel completely confident and crystal clear before making any final decisions.

STEP FIVE: SECURING YOUR DATE

Your wedding date officially becomes secured once your deposit has been paid.

Deposits are now only £500 to confirm your booking.

And then… the adventure truly begins.

To keep everything simple and stress-free, I use an easy online invoicing system where you can:

  • Track payments

  • See upcoming due dates

  • View invoices anytime

  • Receive reminders for your final balance

Your final payment is due 60 days before your wedding day.

If you have any questions at all, I’m always happy to help. Whether you’re ready to book or just want a friendly chat about your plans, feel free to get in touch — I’d absolutely love to hear all about your day
